This week was eventful and fun at IAAS! The last day before vacation is always bitter-sweet as we will miss our teachers and friends so much, but at the same time we are so excited for the upcoming holidays! This week was considered to be "the week of Christmas" in the Penguin class. We read many Christmas books, sang songs about Santa and made Christmas art! 2014 has been a wonderful year and we're eager to see what 2015 has in store for us!
Time for our favorite Christmas story!
Let's make a yummy ginger bread house!
Putting the candies on the house is so much fun!
Look how adorable our little gingerbread village is!
Let's add some cotton balls as snow to our gingerbread village!
We joined the Whales class to watch an old Mickey mouse cartoon !
During our free time we made mini Christmas trees using different materials such as pipe cleaners, wrapping paper, and sequins!
On our last day we cleaned our chairs and cubbies!
Nice and clean!
We also enjoyed some outside time!
We wish you a Merry Christmas...
and a Happy New Year!
Happy Holidays to all!
See you in 2015!
