ジンジャーブレッドハウスをつくったよ

イルカB組のお友達は、朝の会が終わると

すぐに日本語のお勉強が始まります。

今日のひらがなは「お」です。

｢お｣のつく言葉は、「おに」「おにぎり」「おーすとらりあ」

「おおかみ」「おちる」「おーすとりっち」。。。

いろいろな言葉が出ました。

一人ひとりが、余裕を持って書けるようになりました。

「ほら、こんなに上手に書けたよ」

大好きなカプラ遊び。

「ぼくはエアポートをつくったよ」

「わたしたちはクリスマスツリーをつくったのよ」

午後は、るり先生のストレッチでからだを伸ばします。

ストレッチのあとは、お待ちかねの

ジンジャーブレッドハウス作りです。

先生がクッキーのお家を組み立てます。

アイシングをぬって組み立てていきますよ。

その後に、みんなでグミやキャンディーを

屋根にのせたり壁につけたりしていきます。

あまりの楽しさに、いつものおしゃべりはどこへやら？

夢中で作っていましたよ。

今週は各クラスで、クリスマスのイベントやホリデーカードの製作があります。

来週はいよいよクリスマスがやって来ますね。

楽しみですね。

Friday fun day

Happy Friday from Whales & Dolphins 

we spent the morning building 

Today was a busy day, we ate our pizza lunch.. enjoyed music class with Monami sensei
and finished our Danish craft. 

December's birthday party and some school visitors!

Today our Penguin class had a fun filled day! Not only did we have our monthly birthday party but we also had some visitors too! Our high-school visitors taught us how to make paper airplanes with origami and we got to eat some yummy Danish food with our mommies! 

On Wednesday, our Penguins decorated our own ornaments and put them on the tree outside of our classroom! We are so excited for the holidays!

Our high-school visitors joined us during circle time!

We sang some songs and learned their names, we really enjoyed circle time with them!

Time to make some origami!

Folding the paper is so much fun!

After we made our origami airplanes we got to fly them!

 Some of us even got to make two airplanes, cool!

 At our birthday party the birthday boys and girls introduced themselves.

They then blew out their candles.

 Teresa sensei and Hiroko sensei then read us "The Three Billy Goats Gruff"!

At the end of our party, the Flamingo class then sang us a beautiful Christmas song!

 Time for lunch and our mommies joined us!

 YUM!

 After all of that fun, our Penguins are ready for a story and a nap!

Snowy Wednesday!

We hope everyone had a lovely snow day yesterday!!

Flamingos A & B played in the snow this morning! 

They had so much fun! We played with paint in the snow, made a mini snowman, and ran around!

We also made Origami Christmas Trees and Presents during Japanese time.

During English time we colored Scandinavian (Denmark) paper dolls. Each doll had two traditional Denmark outfits.
