A great Fall day at IAAS!!

        We had a great day in the Flamingo "A" room today! We had our monthly Birthday party  for the October birthday children. We sang a Halloween song and recited a rhyme for the birthday children. We also listened to a Japanese story book about curry rice. It was a great story. Happy Birthday to all our birthday children!!:) 

Getting in the Halloween Spirit with Dolphin B!

Good Morning! We love to start our day with circle time!

Today is very special! We are going to carve our class pumpkin!

 

First we need to cut the top off.

Next we used a scoop to get all of the seeds out!

Finally we picked a silly face and cut out the eyes, mouth, and nose.

*We made silly faces in our picture to look like our pumpkin!*

We finished working on our candy corn hats for Halloween!

Lunch Time!

At the end of the day, we each took a turn to count some of the pumpkin seeds we picked out of our class pumpkin. We each took a guess at how many we thought there were! 

How many pumpkin seeds do you think there are?

There were 315!
