I can't believe the first week of summer school is almost over, it's going by so fast and so far we've had nothing but wonderful weather! We've been so lucky to play outside with water each day allowing us to cool off and most of all have fun!
Each morning, our students anxiously sit waiting for circle time to begin!
During English circle time, Ms.Emily calls up one lucky student to help her count how many days are in a week.
Our students love going over the calendar in Japanese with Shoko Sensei also!
Before we begin our fun project of the day, our students get some free time to play as they choose, some like building blocks...
And others like pretending to go grocery shopping
Today we used our fingers and pastel colors to make a beautiful night sky
No two sky's were the same, we all used different colors and different strokes to create a unique work of art
When finished, our students had a little extra free time before water play. Singing, building and reading books were the activity of choice for many students today!
Today was hot and humid, perfect weather to play with water!
Shoko Sensei used a water syringe to cool off the students and play a "water war" game with them
Our flowers that we've been working on since early spring are finally in bloom. Our Penguin's love having the responsibility of watering them and making sure they soak up sun!
After all the fun and games are finished, we were so hungry, time to eat!
We love having lunch with our students and they love having lunch with us!
"Tickle, Tickle, Tickle" said our students as they attacked Shoko Sensei with their little fingers!
What a fun filled day. we can't wait for tomorrow! :)
