Today in Flamingos, we practiced counting with cubes!
First, we counted cubes together as a whole class
Then the class had their own task of finding cubes! They had to first count 3, then 5 of the same color, then 10!
Some friends had to wait patiently for their turn. It was great practice!
Here the class is collecting 10 cubes!

We also learned how 2 rows of 5 can become 10!
Only 9! Then we added one more so it was 10!
5+5=10!

Lots of the classmates helped their friends if they did not have 10 or had too much! It was great teamwork!! They were proud of their work!
