Penguins: Reading and art is fun!

This week has been filled with lots of reading and arts and crafts! So far the Penguins have read "Where the Wild Things Are" and "The Easter Bunny" , both books captured the attention of our little Penguins and they have been eager to have us read the stories again..

After reading the popular book "Where the Wild Things Are" the Penguins are ready to color their "Wild Things" masks!

Although these masks may seem quite scary to many, they are masks of different characters in the book.

After coloring their masks, the Penguins uses glue to attach different color pieces of hair for their monsters!

Here are some of the finished products! "Roarrrrrrrrr!!!"

With Easter coming up on the last week of March, the Penguins learned about Spring and the Easter bunny!

Shoko Sensei is showing the Penguins how we are going to make eggs just like the eggs in the story!

We used sponges to slide the paint across the eggs.

Interesting and fun!

Some blue and yellow, others red yellow and white, with all of these different colors being used our eggs came out BEAUTIFUL!
