Penguins! February 6th 2013

The Penguins are learning all about Madagascar this month. Although it's only the first week of February we've already learned so much about the country!
We made our own Lemur's today! We pasted the eyes, tail and arms. We even attached a Hibiscus, which is the country's primary flower.

We created Madagascar flags by tearing strips of red and green paper and then pasting them back together!

During free play,we made music!
Time for lunch, yum!

With the art exhibition coming up, the Penguins are working hard to make beautiful works of art. Here the Penguins are painting a house we made out of cardboard pink!

One of our Penguins is loving the finished product!

Mmmm, we made pretend hot chocolate out of brown yarn (hot chocolate) and cotton balls (marshmallow's). We then colored the cups and attached a paper handle. This project was fun and perfect for winter!
